Your Bio
I am not trying to make a living with photography. It is a part time job that allows me to do what I enjoy most -- taking pictures. Professional Photography can be quite expensive. I believe that quality work should be available to everyone. Therefore, my goal is to offer quality photos at reasonable rates. I photograph weddings, family portraits, birthday parties, anniversaries, reunions, children's photos, pageants, sports, retirement parties and just about any other event. I love a challenge. There is no such thing as an event being too large or too small. I have always taken "people" pictures. Recently, I discovered that I also enjoy taking photos of landscapes, birds and other creatures of nature, and even products for advertising.
I am the advertising/production manager for two groups of weekly community newspapers -- a total of ten newsprint publications. I have worked for the newspaper in many positions over the past 13 years. Before "moving up in the world" to my current position, my former position as editor of my hometown paper allowed me to take a wide range of photographs and publish them on the front page. It was absolutely this photographer's dream job!
